- A three-time Olympian - the first American basketball player, male or female, to compete in three Olympiads.
- Member of the 1994 USA World Championship Team that captured a bronze medal, averaged 12.7 ppg. and 3.0 apg. and was named to the five-member World Championship All-Tournament Team.
- Co-captained the bronze medal 1992 USA Olympic Team where she led the team in minutes played (26 mpg.) and finished as the USA's assist leader with 27 and third leading scorer with 12.6 ppg.
- Member of the 1991 USA Pan American Games Team that earned the bronze medal, averaged a
team-high 18.0 ppg.,1.3 rpg. and 4.3 apg.
- Member of the 1990 USA World Championship and Goodwill Games teams that captured gold medals, averaged team highs of 21.9 ppg. and 3.0 apg. in the World Championship and team highs of 16.4 ppg. and 4.2 apg. in the Goodwill Games.

- Lead the league in scoring during the 1991 season with a 31.8 ppg. average, ranked second in 1990 (31.9 ppg.) and third in 1993 (25.2 ppg.)...Led league in steals in 1991 (3.3 spg.) and 1990 (3.2 spg.), and in assists in 1993 (5.7 apg.) and 1991 (6.0 apg.).

- Ranks as Georgia's all-time career leader for assists (653) and steals (342), third for points scored (1,989), fifth for field goal percentage (.518%) and fifth for free throw percentage (.736%).

- The oldest of five children, she has four brothers.
- Majored in recreation at the University of Georgia and completed her degree requirements after the 1988 Olympics, graduating on June 17,1989.
