Two-time National Prep champion won prestigious Beast of the East Tournamement Dec. 16-17 in Newark, Del. Repeat All-Met also won St. Albans Invitational and was named outstanding wrestler at Arundel, Hammond, Maryland Catholic and Maryland Independent Schools tournaments. Three-time WCAC champion has a career record of 180-11.

Led by a group of football players he recruited three years ago, Smith's team finished 17-0 this season and won the Maryland 4A/3A tournament for the first time in 23 seasons. The Panthers won every tournament they entered this season, including the Delmarva Classic and Hub Cup, and were the Montgomery County, 4A/3A West Region and Maryland 4A/3A Dual Meet champions.

First at Elks Classic, first at Fort Defiance Tournament. Career record: 125-10. 125 Matt Eveleth, Chesapeake, Jr. (32-0) Three-time Anne Arundel County and 4A/3A East Region champion won second straight Maryland 4A/3A title. Career record: 97-3. Has won 66 consecutive matches. 125 Luke Palumbo, Annapolis Area Christian, Sr. (46-3) Repeat All-Met won Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association title and placed fifth at National Preps. Three-time Patriot Classic champion. Career record: 158-24. 130 Jon Peters, Westlake, Sr. (34-2) Two-time Southern Maryland Athletic Conference champion and 4A/3A South Region champion won Maryland 4A/3A title. First at Bowie Tournament and Patriot Classic. 135 Adam De Cosmo, Old Mill, Sr. (38-0) Repeat All-Met won Anne Arundel County, 4A/3A East Region and Maryland 4A/3A titles. Set school record for single season and career victories. Career record: 140-14.

215 Michael Petrash, Landon, Sr. (40-3) Interstate Athletic Conference champion was National Prep runner-up. First at Big M and South River tournaments, won Gold Medal at Gilman Duals. Career record: 101-35.
