A Co-Worker's Contribution
Two Post reporters and longtime friends, Warren Brown and Martha McNeil Hamilton, underwent similar operations before Thanksgiving, when Martha donated a kidney to her colleague.

Warren Brown, foreground, Martha McNeil Hamilton and Frank Swoboda all came to The Post in the 1970s, and have been friends for decades. Their work area, dubbed "the elder pod," has been central in their friendship, and they have helped each other through medical and family problems.
